La Dolce Vita: An Orsini Garden Party

A little Italian sunshine, beautiful fashion and plenty of sparkling jewels. An afternoon of Italian elegance, New Zealand fashion and fine jewellery in the heart of Parnell.

A little Italian sunshine, a fabulous gathering of women, beautiful fashion and, of course, plenty of sparkling jewels. Our Orsini Garden Party was everything we had hoped for, and more.

On Thursday 22 October, Orsini Fine Jewellery hosted a Garden Party Luncheon in the courtyard of Non Solo Pizza in Parnell. With spring sunshine overhead, guests gathered for an afternoon of fashion, friendship and Italian hospitality, all in support of the St Cuthbert's Old Girls' Association Scholarship Fund.

The setting couldn't have been more fitting. With fresh spring florals, delicious Italian food and a glass of vino in hand, it was a lovely excuse to get dressed up, catch up with friends and enjoy a taste of la dolce vita.

Fashion, Jewellery and a Touch of Italian Style

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the runway show, featuring collections from three talented New Zealand fashion labels: Jane Daniels, Sills + Co and Caitlin Crisp.

Each brought something different to the runway. From Jane Daniels' sophisticated silhouettes and Sills + Co's effortless tailoring to Caitlin Crisp's fresh, feminine designs, there was plenty of inspiration for the season ahead.

Naturally, the finishing touches came from Orsini Fine Jewellery.

Models wore a selection of exquisite Italian designer jewellery from Orsini's collection, including statement gold necklaces, colourful gemstones, sculptural earrings and sparkling diamonds.

It was a chance to see how fine jewellery can be styled with contemporary fashion, whether worn as an understated finishing touch or as the centrepiece of an outfit.

Footwear and accessories from Scarpa completed the looks, bringing together some of our favourite names in New Zealand fashion and design.

An Italian Garden Party in Parnell

The courtyard of Non Solo Pizza provided a lovely setting for the occasion.

Tables were dressed with soft peach and pink florals, creating a relaxed garden atmosphere that felt distinctly Italian.

Between runway presentations, guests enjoyed a leisurely Italian luncheon, good conversation and the chance to admire the jewellery up close.

For Sarah Hutchings, founder and Creative Director of Orsini, bringing people together over beautiful food, fashion and jewellery is one of life's great pleasures.

Her love of Italy has always been at the heart of Orsini. From the craftsmanship of its master jewellers to the Italian appreciation for style, design and enjoying life's simple pleasures, these influences continue to shape the Orsini experience.

The Garden Party was a lovely opportunity to share a little of that world with friends and clients.

A Celebration of Personal Style

Seeing Orsini's jewellery on the runway alongside New Zealand fashion was a particular highlight.

Sarah has always believed that fine jewellery should be worn and enjoyed, not kept tucked away for special occasions.

A pair of sculptural gold earrings can bring a simple outfit to life, while a colourful gemstone necklace adds personality to a classic look. It's often these small styling choices that make an outfit feel entirely your own.

The afternoon was a chance to explore different ways of wearing fine jewellery and discover pieces that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Giving Back

Alongside the fashion and festivities, the luncheon supported a cause close to the hearts of many of our guests.

The event was held in support of the St Cuthbert's Old Girls' Association Scholarship Fund, helping provide educational opportunities for future generations of young women.

We were delighted to bring everyone together for such a worthwhile cause and grateful to all those who contributed to the afternoon's success.

Thank You for Joining Us

A heartfelt thank you to Jane Daniels, Sills + Co, Caitlin Crisp and Scarpa for being part of our Garden Party and sharing their beautiful collections.

Thank you also to the team at Non Solo Pizza for looking after us so well, and to our generous sponsors, supporters, models, hair and makeup artists, and everyone who helped bring the afternoon together.

Most importantly, thank you to all the lovely women who joined us. It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with you.

We couldn't have asked for better company, a more delightful setting or a lovelier way to celebrate spring.

Until next time!

With love from Sarah and the Orsini team.
