The gold and jewellery district of Vicenza
We are found in the historical “goldsmiths’ zone” of Vicenza, one of Italy’s best-known industrial districts, which vaunts worldwide distinction. The district extends from the province of Vicenza to Bassano and up to the feet of the Lessini mountains.
The undisputed value of the craftsmanship of Vicenza’s craftsmen was well known and appreciated already in the times of Venice’s Serenissima Republic. Then, the foundations were laid for what is still considered one of the main centres of Italian jewellery making.
