Yes. We offer both natural and lab-grown diamonds for engagement rings, chosen to
the same exacting standards of cut, colour, and clarity. Lab-grown stones are
chemically and optically diamond; they differ only in origin. In the atelier we
will show you both options side by side, explain certification, and help you
decide what fits your budget and values. Book a private appointment to discuss
lab diamond options with our team.
We take the sourcing of all of our stones incredibly seriously, and we always have. We only work with suppliers who meet international ethical standards, and we are committed to being transparent about our sourcing practices. To ensure quality and authenticity of our stones, we only use ones that have correct certificates and identifications, such as those from the Geological Institute of America (GIA). These certificates give our customers peace of mind by providing information on every stone's origin, quality, and authenticity.
At Orsini we hand-select each stone with the highest quality in mind, every stone is unique and we can trace its origins to the nth degree.
Alongside GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification and specialist diamond grading training through the GAA (Geological Association of Australia), our master jewellers are also members of the Goldsmith Guild of New Zealand and abide by the Jewellers & Watchmakers of New Zealand Inc. Code of Ethics.
Most people buy a diamond engagement ring to wear 24 hours a day, however, you should still give thought to its care. Don't wear it when you're doing rough work or going to the gym. Even though a diamond is durable, it can be chipped by a hard knock or blow and the mounts can be scratched and damaged.
