“The Auckland Polo Club was one of the first polo clubs to be formed in New Zealand. Indeed early records show that in 1890 Auckland lost the first Savile Cup – the oldest sporting trophy in New Zealand. We have since won the Savile Cup a total of seven times.
The Club has a busy schedule of tournaments throughout the season, the highlight being the New Zealand Polo Open, run each February. This event attracts some of the best players both from New Zealand and overseas and offers magnificent hospitality opportunities for both corporate groups and private individuals.”
