Inspired by the elegant spans of Venice’s bridges, Ponte is defined by balance, proportion, and clarity of form. A round brilliant diamond is held within a refined six-claw setting, elevated with precision to allow light to move freely through the stone.
The Design
Ponte is an exercise in restraint.
The six-claw setting forms a precise, symmetrical structure, securing the diamond while allowing it to remain visually open. This minimal use of metal ensures light enters from all angles, enhancing the natural brilliance of the stone.
The band is clean and uninterrupted — a continuous line that supports the centre stone without distraction. Every element is resolved to achieve a sense of quiet strength and enduring simplicity.
Italian Inspiration
The meaning of ponte in Italian is "bridge". Inspired by the Ponte Olina, an elegant medieval stone bridge in the Province of Modena, this design reflects balance, proportion and quiet architectural beauty.
Just as a bridge creates a connection between two places, the Ponte setting symbolises the union of two lives. Its refined six-claw structure elevates the diamond with lightness and precision, creating a timeless engagement ring of enduring elegance.

Each custom-made Orsini piece is designed in store and handcrafted by our skilled master jewellers and diamond setters. To design and craft a unique piece usually takes between 6-8 weeks, so be sure to keep this in mind, and if you have a particular date in mind we will certainly do our best to meet your time frame.
