What type of wedding ring should I get? +

The design and profile are up to the wearer's preference. However, another aspect to consider is the width of the wedding ring. The most common wedding ring widths are 6mm and 8mm. We have found that men with slightly larger or longer fingers prefer rings of at least 8mm, and men with shorter or slimmer fingers prefer 6mm.

At Orsini, our men's designs range from 2mm to 12mm; the width is a personal preference. We advise visiting our store to try out different ring widths and find the best fit for you.

What finger does a man wear his wedding ring on and should he wear it all the time? +

Traditionally, men wear their wedding ring on the fourth finger of their left hand. Generally, tradition indicates that the ring is worn as much as possible, with a few exceptions, such as needing to remove it for the wearer's occupation.

What colour should my wedding ring be? +

The most common colour for a man's wedding ring is yellow gold, followed by platinum or white gold and rose gold. Other metals, such as palladium and titanium, are available as well. However, they are not as common as the precious metals mentioned previously. Picking a suitable wedding ring colour should depend on your tastes.

Should men's wedding rings have diamonds? +

This is based on preference. A man's wedding ring can have diamonds; their sizes can vary according to the wearer's preference.

How loose should a man's wedding ring be? +

When putting on the wedding ring, there should be a small amount of effort needed to push the ring over the knuckle. Once on, the ring should fit snuggly, however, there should be a little wiggle room for when the temperature of the wearer increases and fingers start to swell a little. The same amount of effort should be needed in order to take the ring off the finger. When putting on or taking off a wedding ring, there should be a small amount of effort needed to push the ring over the knuckle. Once on, the ring should fit snuggly. However, there should be some wiggle room for when the wearer's temperature increases to account for swelling.
