Access to and use of this site are subject to these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations, including laws and regulations governing copyright and trademark. By accessing this site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, all of these terms and conditions
We love to repair, clean and make alterations to jewellery items to make them look as best as possible.
Whilst we are happy to do this service for estate jewellery and jewellery made by other jeweller's, we do not take any responsibility for the nature, origin or condition of the metal or diamond/ gemstone/ other (or any changes to it due to the repair) as we are unable to ascertain the nature of materials unless tested by gemological equipment.
We will endeavor to clean & repair your item of jewellery to the best of out ability.
PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to require I.D. should the alteration/repair receipt be mislaid. All items left for repair/altering are at the owners risk. Completed guarantee or receipt must accompany items under warranty otherwise normal charges will apply.
Returns & Exchange Policy
Online sales return policy:
Orsini jewellers Ltd offers customers 30 day from the date of sale (some restrictions apply) to return their items for a store credit or exchange within 6 (six ) months. This excludes bespoke designs covered under our cancellation policy.
Please read below as some restrictions do apply:
Please note that the jewellery item must be returned in its original packaging and in a saleable form. If you have altered your jewellery or worn/ damaged it in any way (ie. resizing, scratches, chemicals etc..) it will not be accepted for return. If the product has been supplied with diamond grading reports these are required to be returned also. Refunds or replacements will only be issued once the item is returned and checked by our manager.
This return & exchange policy applies only to the original item of jewellery purchased from Orsini jewellers Ltd and does not apply if the item of jewellery has been altered in any way or form.
Due to health regulations, earrings are strictly non refundable (unless they are faulty) so please choose carefully.
All costs incurred in returning products to Orsini Jewellers Ltd. are the responsibility of the customer.
All jewellery items are considered in the care of the customer, until such time as Orsini Jewellers Ltd. receives them, so please make sure all items are properly packaged. If an item is damaged while being returned to us, the jewellery item will no longer be considered in a resaleable condition and will therefore not be accepted for return.
Please allow up to 3 days for receipt of your goods (or longer if an overseas purchase), plus an extra 3 days for a store credit to be issued.
All returned jewellery items must be accompanied by the original Orsini Jewellers Ltd. receipt (sent with the jewellery), otherwise the return will be declined.
Before making any returns please contact us first so we can assist with any problems that you may have.
In store sales return policy:
Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. You can exchange an item (as long as it is not damaged/altered in any way) for anything else in the store up to the same value. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Due to health regulations, earrings are strictly non refundable (unless they are faulty) so please choose carefully. For any bespoke designs please refer to our cancellation policy.
Ring Sizing Policy
It is responsibility of the customer to choose the correct ring size. Orsini Jewellers Ltd. does not accept any liability for incorrect size ordered. If the ring you have purchased is the wrong size please contact us and we will assist with the correct sizing of your ring. Please note that due to the high quality, workmanship and use of diamonds and precious gemstones, some items of jewellery cannot be re sized. We do not recommend attempting to have an Orsini item of jewellery re sized until you have contacted us and we have made recommendations to you.
We regret that sometimes your selection of jewellery from Orsini Jewellers may not be in stock. We will always advise you at time of purchase and contact you to suggest another similar product or of the time for your selection to arrive from our suppliers. If Gucci is not in stock it may take a week (if in stock) to 3 months (if not in stock) to arrive in New Zealand. Marco Bicego may take approximately 4-6 weeks, and Pomellato may take a week to 6 weeks depending on stock availability. Sarah will endeavor to keep you informed if there are unexpected delays. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries about product availability and sizing. The jewellery displayed on this website is a limited range of the jewellery available. The designs of all jewellery shown on this website and images/ photos are subject to copyright. Under no circumstances may you re-use any of the information on this site, and no copying of the photos, images and designs is permitted. Please respect the designers' time in creating this website and the jewellery designs. Please note that all jewellery designs created at Orsini are the creativity of Orsini Jewellers Ltd.
Errors and Omissions
Orsini Jewellers Ltd. makes every effort to ensure that all prices and descriptions quoted on its website are correct and accurate. However it is inevitable that mistakes will occasionally occur. In the case of an error or omission that has an effect on a customer's order, Orsini jewellers Ltd. will contact the customer to inform them of the error and include the correction in the invoice.
Items special/ custom/ bespoke ordered, altered, or manufactured to your specifications, cannot be accepted for refund, credit or exchange. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. If you have submitted an order by telephone, email or on line ordering please contact us via email as soon as possible to determine whether your order can be changed or cancelled. If you require a cancellation and have submitted a deposit toward a special/ customised order, it may become forfeited at the point of cancellation additionally any unpaid balance may also be billed to you.
Orsini Jewellers Ltd will dispatch your order within 2 business days of payment being received. An email will be sent to you advising that your order has been dispatched and should take no more than 2 days to be couriered to you, depending on where you live. Orsini Fine Jewellery uses reputable couriers and requires that a signature be collected when delivery is made.
If you have not received your order within 2 days of dispatch please contact us and we can trace the location of your purchase. For overseas couriers we will pass on the tracking details so you can follow the progress of your parcel.
Changes to our Website
Orsini Jewellers Limited reserves the right to change any information, product design or prices at any time without notice.
Jewellery Colour Information
Orsini Jewellers Limited has endeavored to accurately display the colors of the jewellery, however the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.
Loss or Damage in Transit
Orsini Jewellers Limited will take every care in the packaging and dispatching your jewellery purchase but is not responsible to the buyer or any person claiming through the buyer for any loss or damage to goods or products caused by any event of any kind by any person, whether or not Orsini Jewellers Limited is legally responsible for the person who caused or contributed to that loss. Orsini Jewellers Limited is not responsible for any loss of items that are wrongfully signed for and accepted by a third party.
Duty Free / Tax Free
Tax free is available to clients departing from New Zealand, provided that they are for their own personal use and for no other purpose. You may not buy on behalf of another, trade or exchange the goods after purchase to a third party, and the items must be completely fabricated rather than loose components such as gemstones. Any Jeweller, trader or purchaser who enters into any arrangement to avoid duties and taxes may be deemed to be party to conspiracy to commit Customs Fraud and any goods purchased thereby may be forfeit. Please note Tax Free purchase is only available for jewellery over $1200 (NZ).
Fraud Protection Program
As part of our order processing procedures, we automatically screen all received orders for fraud or other types of unauthorized or illegal activity. We reserve the right to refuse to process an order due to suspected fraud or illegal or unauthorized activity. In such case, we may reject your order or Customer Services may call you at the phone number you provided to confirm details of your order. We also reserve the right to cancel any accounts or refuse to ship to certain addresses due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity. We take these measures to protect our customers as well as ourselves from fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
