Inspired by the calm authority of an Italian piazza, Piazza is defined by open space and a single commanding presence. A cushion-cut diamond is held in a four-claw setting atop a tapered yellow gold shank — nothing more, nothing competing for attention.
The Design
Piazza is an exercise in presence. The four-claw setting holds the cushion-cut diamond with minimal interruption, allowing the stone’s soft, rounded corners and broad facets to command the space around it. The tapered yellow gold shank narrows gently toward the stone, drawing the eye upward and outward — echoing the way a piazza opens outward from its centre.
Every element is resolved in service of the single stone. Nothing more is needed.

Italian Inspiration
The meaning of piazza in Italian is “square” or “open public space” — the heart of every Italian town, where a single open area holds the attention of everything around it. A piazza needs no ornament to command a city; its scale and presence are enough.
Just as a piazza commands a city through openness and scale alone, the Piazza setting commands attention through a single diamond, held simply and with confidence.

Both Natural diamonds and Lab diamonds are available with certifications, selected with the same attention to balance and refinement.
Every Orsini engagement ring is made to order, with carat weight, metal and stone all adjusted at your consultation to suit your preferences. We also have a wide selection of rings available to view and try on in store to assist with inspiration and selection.

Each Orsini engagement ring is made individually — crafted in our workshop by our master jewellers and diamond setters to the specifications you choose.
The starting point is always a conversation. At your consultation we work through the options together: stone size and quality, metal choice, and any design detail you'd like to adapt. There is genuine flexibility in both design and stone selection, and we take time to understand what the ring needs to be for you.
From confirmation, the process typically takes six to eight weeks. If you have a specific date in mind, please let us know at the outset.
